After studying Philosophy and Cinema (with anthropologist filmmaker Raymonde Hebraud-Carasco ), he embarked on journalism on the radio at RFM, and on television (the show La vie full temps on France 3 ) but knows more notoriety when he has four years movie chronicles Nowhere on Canal +, alongside Philippe Gildas and Antoine de Caunes. He is awarded the "Young and brilliant" prize for Best Television Critic at the Cannes Film Festival in 1991.
