Born in July 1989, Tehran, Iran
Spent the first six years of his life in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Later returned to his hometown of Tehran.
Graduated from high school in 2007, and entered into the computer science program at Sharif University of Technology. In 2009 he became the Vice President of Academics at Cinema Sharif, Sharif University of Technology’s prominent film club, where he organized screenings, classes, and review sessions.
Also was a prominent songwriter and musician in the local music band Artia.
Moved to Vancouver, BC, Canada in 2011. Became a member of the Vancouver Community Arts Council (CACV) and the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA). In 2012 he entered the art program at the University of British Columbia, majoring in psychology. It was there that he made his first short film, De Rigueur (2013). He also became the Vice President of Culture and Academics at “UBC Persian Club,” the society of Iranian students at UBC. At the same time, he furthered his career as a solo musician while playing in local cover bands.
Returned to Tehran in 2015 and entered the film program at Tehran University of Art. He made his second short film Tally in 2015.
In 2015 he became the international director at the 1st Tehran International Silent Film Festival, and in 2016 became the head of foreign affairs at the Globe International Silent Film Festival.

Made his 3rd short film Blue Eyed in 2018.
